1. Yahoo.com is very well layed out and simple. On the side bar is a customizable menu of items that Yahoo offers that you can access. In the middle, 4 major headlines with pictures and/or video links. Below this are more headlines under the categories: news, world, local, and finance. On the right, if you have a Yahoo account and email adress, it displays your new messages and a link to view them all.
2. nfl.com is visually appealing. It has pictures of the top players on each of the remaining playoff teams, the game date, time, and channel it is on. At the top is all the nfl team logos with are direct links to each team’s sites. There is a large link to buy tickets. Below the pictures are video highlights, headlines, and columnist opinions.

The new Sony Dash seems to be a nice at home gadget if you dont happen to have a smart phone. It has a 7-inch screen and thousands of downloadable applications invoving the internet, including Facebook, weather, traffic, sports news, etc. It seems like a good tool instead of having to wait for the news, weather, or traffic reports on TV, while you are getting ready for work. It combines a computer and TV for easy viewing of information.
